An immensley wealthy entrepreneur best known for his Virgin brand encompassing a variety of businesses. In 1986 he crossed the Atlantic Ocean in the fastest ever recorded time, in his boat ‘Virgin Atlantic Challenger II’. Subsequently he has broken world-records by crossing Oceans in a hot air balloon. He was knighted in 1999. Various autobiographies include Losing My Virginity (2005).
