Gemma Arterton
- Favourite Briton.

Born in Gravesend, Kent
Born on 2nd of February 1986
Died in 000

Since the age of 16 Gemma Arterton has been involved full time in the world of acting, firstly as a student at Dartford’s Miskin Theatre School, then moving to study at RADA. She won professional theatrical roles while still a student, and similarly launched her film career with little or no delay. She has filled very glamorous roles in Quantity of Solace and St Trinian’s, played Tess in a BBC Hardy adaptation, done a lot of serious stage work, and appeared in various fantasy genre films, which shows her breadth and willingness to explore new areas, though she may regret choosing to work on the appalling Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters.

Brit Quote:
I went into the business for the money, and the art grew out of it. If people are disillusioned by that remark, I can't help it. It's the truth. - Charlie Chaplin
