- Favourite Briton.

Born on 18th of November 1960

Kim Wilde was born (actually as Kim Smith) the daughter of a famous father, British Rock and Roller Marty Wilde, whose career she may even have eclipsed given the diversity of her own. Ms Wilde had a series of poppy new wave hits in the 1980s, with songs like Kids in America, Cambodia, View from a Bridge, You Keep Me Hangin’ On, and You Came. Laudably she has also developed a second career as a gardener, gardening writer, and presenter of gardening programmes on TV, and a third as a DJ.
