Schneider was educated at the City of London School and Oxford, during his time at university becoming involved in (physical) comedy performance. Since university he has written scripts for the theatre, radio, television and film, and appeared in roles major and minor in a range of projects from the wonderful The Day Today to Horrid Henry: The Movie.
