- Favourite Briton.

Born on 22nd of September 1969

Sue Perkins is clearly a multi-talented person: a graduate of New Hall College, Cambridge where she studied English; winner of the ab initio conducting series Maestro; capable television presenter, most famously on The Great British Bake Off; scriptwriter for the likes of French and Saunders; and a comedian (though we’ll have to take her word for it on that last one). She has in recent years become an almost ubiquitous presence on radio and TV, with many appearances on The News Quiz, Just a Minute and innumerable chat shows, including her own.
