After Uppingham School Christian Jessen studied medicine at UCL and The London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. His specialism is sexual health. Jessen spent two years in Kenya and Uganda working on and studying HIV and malaria projects. He is best known for his many television appearances on shows like Embarrassing Bodies and Supersize vs Superskinny, but continues to practice.
