James Joule

Died on 11th of October 1889
Born 1818.  Died 1889 - English natural philosopher.
Educated by private tutors.  Became famous for his experiments on heat.  Recognition came with Royal Society’s Royal award(1852).  The joule, a unit of energy, is named after him.
