Harold Laski
- Favourite Briton.

Born in Manchester, Greater Manchester
Born on 30th of June 1893
Died on 24th of March 1950

Laski was educated at Manchester Grammar School and New College Oxford before embarking on an academic career that took in spells at McGill, Harvard, Yale and for many years at the LSE. A committed socialist (who briefly chaired the Labour Party), sparkling lecturer, man of ideas and prolific writer, he was perhaps more important for inspiring others than for his own rather inconstant thinking.
