Took charge of a number of high profile matches in the Premiership. Was referee of 1544 matches, his final domestic game being the playoff between Derby County and West Bromwich Albion in 2007. Held a FIFA badge since 1996 refereeing a number of international matches. Remembered for booking the same player three times before sending him off during the World Cup of 2006.
