Born 1966 - English track and field athlete.
Won the 400m hurdles at the 1992 Summer Olympic Games in Barcelona. Set the world record in the same event when winning gold in the 1993 World Championships. Retired in 1997 becoming a television sports presenter. Awarded the OBE in 1998.
