Richard Glazebrook

Born 1854.  Died 1935 - English physicist.
Educated at Trinity College, Cambridge.  Was director of the National Physical Laboratory (1900-19).  Best known for his work on electrical standards.  Wrote several physics textbooks.  Elected FRS in 1882 and knighted in 1917.
