Born 1956 – Irish footballer.

Made his professional debut for Arsenal in 1973. PFA player of the Year in 1979. Played for Arsenal (1973-80) before moving to Italy and playing for a number of Italian clubs including Juventus and Sampdoria before returning to England and playing for West Ham. Won 72 international caps for the Republic of Ireland scoring 9 goals. Retired in 1990 moving into management before becoming Head of Youth Development and Academy Director at Arsenal in 1996.
