Played keyboard in Bryan Ferry’s first band. First feature film was Stormy Monday (1988) followed by Internal Affairs (1990). Nominated for Academy Award for Best Directing and Best Screenplay for Leaving Las Vegas (1995). More recent films include Cold Manor Creek (2003).
