Born Rotterdam. 1648 - 1721. Sculptor and Carver.

Decorated the rooms of Charles II at Windsor and the choir at St Paul’s Cathedral. Worked on many famous mansions including Chatsworth, Burghley, Hampton Court, Blenheim and the ceiling at Petworth. Produced the statues of Charles II at Chelsea Hospital and James II in Trafalgar Square.
