Born 1324. Died 1371 - King of Scotland.



Only surviving son of Robert Bruce. Crowned at Scone in 1331. Invaded England in 1346 but was defeated and kept prisoner for 11 years. His release brought about a 27 year truce with England. Had no children, succeeded by Robert II.
