Corfton lies on the outskirts of Craven Arms, just off the A49 between Pedlars Rest and Diddlebury in the rolling countryside of South Shropshire. There is evidence of a castle in the area but all that remains today is an earth ringwork. This peaceful location that is surrounded by open countryside offers the casual visitor a number of hiking and cycling activities as it is within easy reach of Wenlock Edge and the Clee Hills which are the highest hills in the English Midlands and were at one time quarried for their minerals and stone.
