Events in Trinity | 10 Places to Stay
Trinity is one of the twelve parishes of Jersey and is situated on the north east of the island. It is the most rural of the parishes of Jersey and has a relatively small population for its size when compared to the other parishes.
Trinity is home to the Royal Jersey Agricultural and Horticultural Society, based at the Royal Jersey Showground, the Jersey Zoo and the States Farm.
Local folklore tells of the legend of The Black Dog of Bouley, a hound that would appear prior to the coming of a storm. It is believed that local smugglers who wanted to discourage people from walking about at night may have invented the legend. Thus they would be able to continue movements of contraband without being disturbed!
Visitors to Trinity enjoy its history and culture, as well as its beautiful seaside. The Jersey Zoo is always a popular place to visit and ideal for families. The beautiful Island of Jersey has so much to offer and Trinity will give it all to you. You can venture up the cliff paths and explore the lush, green forests of the Island. There is a variety of accommodation on the beach so you can let the gentle sounds of the sea lull you to sleep.
