Limpley Stoke is a delightful village in Wiltshire, that turns back the pages of time for a thousand years. The Dundas Aqua Duct on the Kennet & Avon Canal runs through it, and if you visit you will tempted to either ride on one of the many Boats that cruise along at a gentle speed, or cycle, perhaps try fishing for the one that doesn’t get away….. The church of St Mary’s dates back to the 13th Century and is fascinating…step inside and take a closer look, at the Medieval Graffiti etched by Knights on their way to the Crusades. Or catch a curtain call at the Theatre Royal where Drama, Music or Opera promises a scintillating time. Or perhaps a trip to the first Safari Park outside of Africa, Longleat is home to Lions and Tiger and Wallabies and many other critters, climb aboard a Safari Boat or ride on a train……
