Nestling at the foot of the South Downs, Midhurst is a jewel in a sea of
green fields and woodlands. With a vibrant and comprehensive business
community - there is nothing that cannot be supplied, or sourced, via
businesses in Midhurst. Sports facilities are better than many larger
towns; from thriving Cricket and Rugby clubs, to indoor sports, and a
modern gym, at the Grange Centre. Of course Cowdray Park is famous for
Polo and the Cowdray Park Golf Club is second to none in the area.
The surrounding countryside is glorious and has views that have to be
seen to be believed. Take your dogs for a walk along the top of the
nearby South Downs and you'll see what we mean.
The present town has a rich variety of types and ages of streets, from
the broad thoroughfare of North Street, with the imposing grammar school
at one end to the narrower lanes of the old town. Hotel and Pubs in the
area are superb and the Bed & Breakfast community is thriving. As a
