Felpham is a picturesque village that nestles by the sea, placed on the outer edges of Bognor Regis in the county of Sussex, and is home to over nine and a half thousand people. The houses and cottages peppered along the narrow lanes are an eclectic mix of new, and historic half timbered, and flint cottages that date back to the 16th and 17th Centuries, however, the ancient church of St Mary The Virgin links back further to Norman times although has been altered throughout the pages of time. The village was home to the poet William Blake who famously wrote Jerusalem, and the moving words in England's green and pleasant land. This delightful village with it's high flint walls is within site of the Sussex Downs, and was once owned by King Alfred The Great, it's agricultural and maritime activities thrived before it became a popular holiday location with it's charming seafront where strolls along the prom will blow away the cobwebs, and there's even a chance for a game of tennis. The centre of the village won't disappoint with restaurants, pubs, and shops to please the most discerning visitor, and for those who love to explore Felpham may just hold the key.
