Potton is an ancient Market Town set within the heart of rural Bedfordshire, and is home to over four thousand people. There's a pleasing church dedicated to St Mary which dates back to the 13th Century, and elegant Georgian buildings throughout, which were built after a large fire that took place in the 18th Century. The town was placed firmly on the map with it's magnificent Horse Fairs held in the past, today's visitor should seek out the Square where there's shops, restaurants, and pubs to sample, or there is always the busy riverside town of Bedford which is just ten miles away.
