A small hamlet/village nestling on the delightful North Cornwall Coast, Watergate Bay is the site of 'Fifteen Cornwall' and is definitely going places. The emphasis here is on surfing and all other varieties of sea led water sport although the lovely beach still gets crowded with more traditional beach enthusiasts. The Bay is close enough to Newquay for those that want it yet a million miles away in terms of peace and quiet. Towering above the Beach is the Watergate Bay hotel - a chic and laid back retreat with simply superb views from the 'open to all' bar and terrace.
