The town has many historic buildings and places of interest. Billericay was known to have at least two prosperous periods within its colourful history, Tudor and Georgian. These are still visible today with many lovely buildings in and around the High Street, you can see where these are on our street map.

Billericay has continued to grow and develop with new housing and commercial properties being built. The railway is still of great importance with many people commuting to London each day to work. Billericay currently has a population of approximately 40,000 and is now a flourishing town with a wide variety of sports, leisure and cultural activities.

The Billericay area is also home to many family attractions, current events and all types of recreation throughout the whole year.
