Kingston Bagpuize is a village in the civil parish of Kingston Bagpuize with Southmoor, part of the Vale of the White Horse in the county of Oxfordshire. The village contains Kingston Bagpuize House, the former residence of John Buchan, the son of the well known novelist of the same name. Now the family home of Virginia Grant and her children, the house and gardens are open to the public on selected days and for group visits, by appointment, throughout the year. During the Second World War, there was an airfield to the west of the village. Remnants of the control tower are still visible near the cricket club. The Millennium Green is a 9 acre site situated to the east of Kingston Bagpuize on the old Oxford Road. It is a wildlife reserve with open grassland and a wildflower meadow. The parish church is St John the Baptist Church. The first church was built on the site of the present church shortly after the Norman Conquest. Several churches have been built, demolished and refurbished on the site since then, the latest being in 1822. A new extension to the church was opened in 2000. Kingstone Bagpuize has one pub, The Hinds Head, situated on the Witney Road.
