Dunadry is a small, rural village located between Antrim, to the west, and Templepatrick, to the east. The village has one big draw: visitors flock from miles around to the Dunadry Hotel & Country Club for weddings, conferences or maybe just the chance to relax and enjoy some pampering. Massage, aromatherapy and all kinds of beauty treatments are offered at the hotel, along with a jacuzzi, sauna, spa pool, steam room and solarium. The four-star hotel, a Northern Ireland favourite, is both unusual and elegant, standing on the site of an old fort, where linen and paper mills once thrived. Dunadry is close to Belfast International Airport and to the M2, giving fast access into Belfast city, and it's only minutes away from the historic and commercial attractions of Antrim. The village itself is home to Donegore Motte, a pre-Anglo/Norman monument, and the charming St John's Church. Both are reached via the Landscape Centre, recently voted the best garden centre in Northern Ireland. Dunadry is located in prime fishing country, with the Six Mile Water river yielding large numbers of wild brown trout and salmon. Other sports enjoyed within a few miles of the village include golf and horse-riding.
